Annual Meeting 2003
This year's annual meeting was held on Wednesday, Tuesday, May 27 at 7:30 P.M. at the Community House in Southborough, MA.
Our guest speaker was John Wawrzonek. John presented his latest book, The Illuminated Walden.

John Wawrzonek began photographing Walden Pond and Walden Woods in 1991. This followed about 16 years of many treks through the New England countryside, including ten years along the Mass Turnpike (New England Monthly, Pike Picks), one year at Beaver Brook in Littleton (New England Monthly, Timeless River), and many others.
Biography
John Wawrzonek received S.B., S.M., and E.E. degrees in electrical engineering from M.I.T. He began photographing while working in engineering and marketing at Bose Corporation in Framingham, Massachusetts.
Wawrzonek's photographs have been described as: "... a mind bending treat ... The prints vibrate with life, texture, detail and color." (Boston Globe) and "... captures nature with beauty, sensitivity, and a touch of the divine." (Art New England). His work has been widely exhibited and is in many public and private collections including The Cleveland Art Institute, The Rose Art Museum at Brandies, Apple Computer, Merrill Lynch, Elton John, Jackson Brown, Tony Bennett, Lady Bird Johnson and many others. His book Walking (The Nature Company, 1994), with text by Thoreau, has been reprinted six times. His photographs have appeared in many magazines including Life, View Camera, Outdoor Photography, Orion and others.

Annual Meeting 2002
Thursday May 9, 7:30 PM
In addition to the election of Trustees, noted nature
photographer Steve Maka gave a presentation entitled
"The Hereafter," an artistic pictorial of the remains of animals as
well as photographs from his recent trip to the Arctic.
